The main transfer station near Cass Lake will be closed on Sundays effective on November 9, 2008. Employees of Solid Waste will be expected to follow the exact hours you are scheduled, no deviations from the scheduled hours will be allowed without prior approval. These changes in the hours of operation has been advertised with the DeBahJiMon newspaper, here on the llojibwe website and in brochures distributed by DRM and the US Forestry, and as such, our clientele has been informed of our hours and will be expecting that the sites will be open as advertised.

There is no fee for Leech Lake Band members to access these facilities, and there is an attendant at each transfer station to assist in the proper disposal of waste by category.  Please note that individuals not enrolled in Leech Lake must purchase a punch card from Teal’s Supervalu in Cass Lake, and that the punch cards are only accepted at the transfer station located near Cass Lake.
